RT @ShaunaReports: Can’t wait for Ireland, north & south, to have better, faster, more frequent public transport with links that work for w…

@wdavidh13 @BelfastLive @ShaunaReports I watched an irrate driver overtake 12 cyclists on Saturday into oncoming traffic (forcing oncoming driver to completely stop) so he could then turn immediately into Drumbeg Church car park - was it you?

@colinpmasters My eldest wee boy just started school about a mile away as the crow flies. Literally impossible to safely cycle so he sits in my car and we join the gridlock twice a day 🤦🏻‍♂️

@nevali Yeah, there's currently a bill going through the Lords to fix that anomaly.

@colinpmasters And I assume you're hitting them in a car.. try cycling anywhere - you take your life in your hands 😵

Does NI have a half-decent train network? NO. Does NI have a half-decent bus network? NO. Does NI have any sort of cycle network? NO. Does NI have any sort of childcare strategy? NO. Does NI have a reliable health system? NO. The very basics of a developed country in '22.

Fifteen years into my working life in the UK and all I've experienced is austerity, rising tax rates, public spending slashed, infrastructure crumbling, NHS buckling, strikes and deprivation. NI now poorest region of entire UK and Stormont is dormant. Get. Me. Out. #Think32

@CJCHowarth Tell me you didn’t bother to read the article without telling me you didn’t bother to read the article 🤦🏻‍♂️

@SJAMcBride @josefmcmeel @BelTel Micropayments typically assume payment per article in low pence, not £ greatly increasing the number of single payments needed before value threshold of a sub is exceeded. BelTel monthly sub is also insanely cheap compared to other dailies making it an outlier in this comparison

@SJAMcBride @josefmcmeel @BelTel I like the gym analogy.. it’s easier to persuade one person to pay £30 a month plus the probable reoccurrence of a direct debit than it is to persuade 30 people to pay £1 every single month, repeatedly.
