@SiLeeGPNI @JamesTheDraper @BrysonRecycling ABC Council ditching boxes and switching to green bins! "The consultation attracted an unprecedented number of responses – the highest so far in the Council’s history...85% expressed a preference for the green bin." Over to you Lisburn and Castlereagh. https://t.co/SS4FzOTSfW

To be fair, it’s looks like Easter drinking restrictions in NI this year will only be mildly more restrictive than we’re used to in previous years. https://t.co/3C5wZ6XGBw
@SiLeeGPNI @JamesTheDraper @BrysonRecycling My brown/black wheelie bins only ever blow over while empty and in very high winds. Certainly no guarantee but huge reduction in likelihood in comparison with current solution. Onus should be on council to enforce collection standards and recycling targets.
@SiLeeGPNI @JamesTheDraper @BrysonRecycling I understand why Bryson use boxes, we reduce their costs by doing the sorting for them.. but at what cost to the countryside and urban environment? Hedgerows and green corners are full of curry containers and washing tablet tubs. [1/2]
@SiLeeGPNI @JamesTheDraper @BrysonRecycling With respect Simon, we shouldn’t be accepting solutions that “might help” mitigate the problem. Providing an adequate container to remove household waste at scale is a solved problem 🤷🏻♂️ https://t.co/SUBvRYjtyz
@ThePaulMcBride @BrysonRecycling I used to walk the dog baffled - who throws an empty curry container out their car window? Or washing tablets tub? Then I realised.. our hedgerows are full of items that were originally put in a Bryson box 🤬
Four tacit admissions our primary collection method is not fit for purpose 👇🏻 https://t.co/T0zpfkyI1w
@megsergio @shanemcveigh23 Paintballin’ but only within 0.5m of the Quinn fence?
Another @BrysonRecycling day with mild to moderate winds and the whole street is fucking *covered* in household detritus. I’m convinced Bryson is single biggest contributor to litter everywhere. https://t.co/2P6D6bKc9j
